The story of Teatergrillen 

Tore Wretman,  one of the greatest chefs that´s been active in swedish history, is the founder of Teatergrillen.

In the beginning of the combined history of Teatergrillen and Riche, this was considered the simpler and less ceremonious of the two restaurants. This new style attracted partly a new clientele. Parts of the ensemble from Dramaten were more frequently gathering at this locus. Writers, artists and the intellectuals joined these new guests. With time, new constellations started to meet at Teatergrillen. Teatergrillen has always attracted new guests and visitors, but the interior remains mainly the same. Today Teatergrillen can boast with one of the best preserved restaurant interiors in Sweden, a sight worth visiting. If you add fine food, exemplary service and a cordial ambience, you´ll understand why it is now considered one of the most ceremonious restaurants in Stockholm. And Restaurang Riche is now considered the simpler alternative of the two, the tables has turned.
