Teatergrillen Interiors

The interior decoration plays on theatrical life including Venetian masks marionettes and costume dummies. Aijmer´s inspiring painting a view over the rooftops of Paris, stretches around the room like a frieze. It is also this very painting that we are using for this website. This painting has been carefully complemented in stride with the minor reconstructions that have been made. 
A more modern element, which is both harmonizing and in contrast to the romantic rooftops, is the painting by Nils Kölare. The painting was incorporated in the year of 2002, the geometrical abstractions is in this context transformed in to squared buildings, with both dark and light windows.
A more recent art event is the mural painting/gobelin made by the artists Spitzfinger (Åsa Klingberg and Natasza Nowakowska), which is situated in the foyer. For true artlovers we recommend a visit to the gentlemens toilet where Roger Andersson has made a fussy romantic blue painting in the actual porcelain of one of the WC bowls. It is the best excuse for ladies to demand to have a look at the gent´s room.
